Lowest-paid players on the MLB All-Star rosters

The combined salary for the 10 lowest paid All-Stars is a fraction of what the top individual stars make.

Salary doesn’t equal production in Major League Baseball. Many of the All-Stars playing tonight are on the low end of their team payrolls, mostly because the players are under team control and have yet to enjoy free-agent megabucks. The combined salary for the 10 lowest paid All-Stars comes out to $5,309,000, which is one third the salary of Rockies shortstop and NL All-Star starter Troy Tulowitzki. Here are¬†tonight’s All-Stars whose salaries fall near¬†the league minimum:
